About me

I am licensed in the state of Montana to do mental health counseling and therapy, as well as a Certified Coach. I’ve been self-employed for over 30 years and have a wide range of experience. I particularly work with persons who experience anxiety, stress and depression - often as a result of family problems and frequently work issues! I’ve also worked with all branches of the military working with troops and family both in the USA and abroad.

My style of counseling tends to be more direct than passive. I believe in warmth, compassion and listening along with guidance and direction offered. I do not give advise; I am your mirror and help you see what you most want and need. Therapy is an individual journey, so the path we carve together is unique in it’s terrain, speed and outcome.

I look forward to meeting each client with an open mind and heart. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Mrs. Savage is very kind. Has been helping me work out somethings that have weighed me down for many years.

Ellen is really wonderful, she's my favourite therapist to date (I've had many, haha). She asks good questions and challenges me to look deeper when it might not be the comfortable thing to do. She's open minded and kind, it's easy to talk to her. I have been seeing her for a while and my partner thinks I've become more confident, self aware and less anxious. Highly recommend! Thank you Ellen

Ellen has been excellent to work with. She responds quickly to any questions or concerns and follows up to see how I am doing. Our sessions have been great and allowed me to reach the goals I set for my therapy. She is extremely knowledgeable and caring but provides worthwhile insights to move forward.

Ellen is a true professional!! She is exactly what I had been looking for in a therapist. She is understanding, asks questions to get a true understanding of my experiences, and actually makes me laugh. I leave her sessions feeling more informed, empowered, and like I am making true progress.
