EMILY KISSNER, MA. LCPC
Emily Kissner (she/her/hers) is a Professional Counselor, multimedia artist, and activist. She holds a masters degree in art therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). She specializes in working with clients seeking to alleviate mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, managing drug use, as well as complex trauma. Emily works from a feminist framework, is LGBTQA+ affirming and a poly, kink and sex work - aware provider.
Emily uses evidence-based interventions from the fields of psychotherapy and art therapy to support clients in building positive coping tools, and deepening self-knowledge and understanding of their personal and interpersonal contexts.
