Emma Thilwind, NCPS
About me
I am a credentialed professional in the UK with 10 years of experience. I specialise in helping clients with relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, and depression.
I believe you are the expert of your own story and possess many strengths that can help you overcome challenges. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy requires courage, so well done for starting this journey! If you feel anxious or worried about beginning counselling, please try not to be.
I work hard to create a comfortable space for my clients, as I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating. I'm laid-back, and many clients like the fact that I add humour to therapy when its needed. My life has been very "colourful", and I have a range of lived experiences, so be assured, you won’t be judged .
If you feel that I'm not the right fit for you, I wish you the best in your counselling journey. Take care!

Emma is a compassionate, warm, patient and entirely trust-inspiring person and therapist. From the get-go, I felt comfortable and taken care of, and even though it's only been a few sessions, I can already see a difference in the way I'm thinking about and approaching things, due to her gentle inspiration.
