You may have come to this site because you're hurting, dealing with issues of life that you just can't seem to figure out, or simply searching for a safe place to share your thoughts and the things that are on your heart and mind. Or maybe you're facing disappointment, anger, or resentment, and at times you feel like you want to throw in the towel. There is good news... I am here to walk with you and help you move from merely surviving to thriving! I became a therapist because I believe that everyone deserves to have somebody that they can be transparent with and receive insight oriented feedback about what is troubling them in their lives. Helping people connect the dots and discover the purpose in those life events and experiences is what I believe is the key to a better life. By coming here it means that you have taken the 1st step to getting better and I would be happy to help.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor's and Master's degree from The University of Texas @ Arlington with over 10 years of varied experience working with children, adults, couples, and families in a variety of settings providing both long term and brief interventions. Areas of expertise include: Anxiety & Depression, Relationship challenges, Family conflict, Phases of life changes, and next steps. I welcome clients with these particular struggles. I use a variety of therapeutic tools and tailor treatment to the individual, couple, or family. I believe that change happens when people are given the insight they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling, happy lives and get back to the "normal" that we all desire. In my free time I love traveling, spending time with my husband and family, and giving back through various service projects in my community. Helping people is my passion and helping you would give me joy!

Erica.. is nothing short of an angel. I have been having a hard time coping with therapy, feeling like a burden, childhood trauma & seriously traumatic relationship issues.. But she always makes me feel welcomed. I thought I could deal with another therapist, but I had to get Erica back.. she is.. definitely just a blessing. Highly recommended depending on your needs.

Erica helped me for almost 5 months and was able to shine a light on problems I had been having and connect the pieces that I couldn't see. She was straightforward and said it how it was which I appreciated, I didn't realize at the time that I needed that type of support. Will be taking her tips and advice with me as I continue my journey.

Erica is outstanding! She’s us enlightened me and helped me get back to who I used to be after a 7 year breakup. She has helped me deal with the reasons of conflict, expectations, non-negotiables, boundaries , who I am and what I want now. Her insight is just and fair and always moves me to a positive. She brings a highly professional and personable approach to talking and educating me. I seriously give her 20 out of 10 stars I tell my friends what I’m learning and they all say she sounds amazing and they wish they had her as a therapist too.

Erica does not shy away from the truth. As a sensitive person, I am always afraid of harsh feedback, but she is always honest but compassionate. Through her insights and guidance, I am learning to be the happiest and most centered version of myself I can be. I always think of her when I need advice or a different outlook. Therapists are logical. That is their job. Logic can sometimes appear cold, but it helps you more than coddling. She is firm when necessary but always kind. I would recommend her to everyone.

I didn't know what I was looking for in a counselor but something about Erica (perhaps her smile) told me she was the right one for me. And I was right. She is amazing and supportive. She helps me identify areas I want to improve myself and how to get there in ways that work for me while also being patient and kind. She encourages me to be strong for myself but also to be responsible for my own actions and feelings (something that is important to me). I don't feel like just another client. She checks in on me when she doesn't hear from me and follows up promptly when the conversation is rolling. I'm so lucky I found her.

I chose her because I was seeking someone with a similar gender and ethnicity. To a sensitive person she can come off a bit blunt which may take someone who is rather sensitive aback but she means well and gives great advice. Thus far she’s a good fit for me. I kinda see her as a friend that will tell you like it is and encourage you at the same time
