Erika Roberts, LCSW
About me
Everyone needs assistance and guidance from time to time. I have spent the majority of my career in mental health working with the homeless population, youth and individuals with severe mental health concerns. I have helped individuals to navigate a variety of issues. I am comfortable working with individuals who are on the Autism Spectrum, and the LGBTQIA+ population. I believe people should be allowed to grow and progress from whatever type of issues they are struggling with while being treating with compassion, respect and care. Each client should leave a session with tools they can implement in their own lives, even if that is just the release of being able to talk about their troubles or concerns. I approach therapy with a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Sometimes our emotions just become too much for us to deal with on our own. I believe my sessions are compassionate, yet challenging enough to help you grow. My experience is not only academic but personal as well. I hope that you will benefit from speaking with me, and I can help you enrich your life, work toward your goals, and reach your full potential.

. I’ve never been a fan of therapy because of past experiences… I’m so happy I got paired with Erika. She’s a great therapist. Very understanding and offers a ton of support.

Erika is a fantastic therapist. She has been attentive, supportive, helpful, understanding, and compassionate in a way that directly relates with my feelings, trauma, and experience. She takes the time to get through the extra curricular portion of our sessions and for that, I am so grateful. She is relatable, kind, intelligent, and genuine. I appreciate her attention, support, and knowledge in helping me navigate a very challenging and difficult time in my life. She has given me the tools and assignments I need to process my unique experience. I feel fully seen, heard, and supported by her. My last therapist did not engage with me to the degree that I get with Erika and the results on my psyche and state of mind are substantial. I have nothing but positive things to say about her and would recommend her for anyone going through a rough place in their life. Thank you.
