Erin Burvee, LSCSW
About me
I am a clinical social worker in Overland Park, Kansas with 28 years experience treating individuals with relationship conflicts, parenting struggles, grief and loss, as well as mood disorders, anxiety, and ADHD.
I believe firmly in the importance of continued growth and self-awareness. My therapy style is interactive and helps individuals identify their strengths as well as areas of growth. My approach uses a cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, as well as a family systems approach. Our sessions will be tailored to your specific needs.
Taking the first step to ask for support and guidance is tough. It takes courage and strength to be willing to own the process and seek guidance for growth. If you are interested in taking that step, I am here to support you with your journey.

She’s very gentle, consistent, and reliable. She confirms, and then asks tougher questions, allowing me to ponder before — or if — responding. I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth with Erin.

Erin is positive and helps me re-frame my stress in a positive way - that's what I like best about her. She is helping me to think differently about stress and teaching me how to manage it better. It's only been a few sessions, but I'm confident that we are a good fit.

Erin has been an excellent mentor during some tough interactions related to boundaries, while still allow my own voice to shine through to resolve the problem at hand.
