About me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina with 5 years of professional work experience. I have worked in the Mental Health field for 21 years assisting individuals with varies mental health issues and intellectual disorders. Currently, I work with individuals in the LBGT+ community and LBGT+. Individuals suffering with depression, anxiety/stress, grief and loss, trauma issues, relationship/couple's issues, and individuals dealing with psychosocial issues. My approach to therapy is Cognitive Behavioral, but I also use a Person/Client approach, meaning they are in control of their own goals, needs, and wants. I want my clients to feel they are in control of their sessions, what works for them and feel they are in a safe and loving environment.
