About me
Hi! I'm a brown, somatic abolitionist, and psychotherapist. I enjoy working with BIPoC, queer, neurodivergent, and other historically marginalized folx.
I find great value in being with people of backgrounds and experiences which are both similar and different than my own. I work from an authentic, decolonizing, gestalt way of being in any relationship I encounter including ours. This means I like to pull from my background, life-experience, education, training, and experience in our therapeutic relationship and I'm not confined to doing a specific intervention in any specific way. I work from a relational and somatic approach while attuning to myself, you, and our relationship.
While I am not "solutions-focused" which in my experience can get focused on just the cognitive answers vs. processing, integrating, and contacting, I do like to set the intention that this is a temporary relationship and will check-in with you from time to time about our therapeutic relationship. Feel free to ask me questions.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Faith Beaulieu. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I had to change therapist unexpectedly and while looking through the list of therapist I felt a bit overwhelmed. It might be dumb but Faith's profile picture first caught my attention, as she looked like someone that would be easy to talk to and it made me feel a bit at ease. Reading her profile helped that feeling along. It gave me a sense of a professional that was open and willing to help without making the person seeking help feel like a number or statistic. I don't think I'm alone in worrying that bringing your troubling thoughts or feelings to someone else (often times professionals) will result in you being dropped into a standard box/category or written off as a typical case of this or that. Talking with Faith has been very helpful in my opinion. She makes me feel like I'm just me and its alright to not be sure about how to deal with all life throws at me. I know therapy isn't for everyone but I'm glad I gave it a shot. And I'm grateful that Faith has been here to help me.

Highly recommended, Faith is great! I’ve had several therapists throughout my life and it always took a while to open up but not with Faith. I instantly felt comfortable and I was able to be vulnerable in the first session!! We’ve already uncovered a lot after our first two sessions! Faith has an ability to empathize and meet you where you are at. Faith is great with connecting you to your body and helps you manage feelings in the session so you don’t feel drained afterwards. Super helpful approach to therapy!

Faith was kind, approachable, easy to reach, and adapted well to my needs. She asked insightful questions.
