About me

Hi, My name is Faizah Nasser, I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been working in the field for 9 years now. I received my Master’s Degree at Wayne State University.

I have worked with a wide variety of populations and in different settings. I have worked in an outpatient clinic, inpatient hospital, and schools providing individual and group therapy. I have experience with working with individuals with ADHD, Anxiety/stress, and Depression, and Parenting Skills. I usually take a client centered therapeutic approach, taking a client centered approach helps focus on the client and offer subtle guidance and encouragement to take control of your destiny.

I believe that seeking help takes a lot of courage and is a step in the right direction. Therapy should be viewed as a positive approach to self care and promote emotional wellness. I would love to work with you to feel confident in your ability to tackle the challenges of everyday life you are facing.

I look forward to working with you!

She is the best, she knows what I need even when I do not know. Very helpful and can point out what is bothering even if you do not know what it is.

Faizah is extremely easy to talk to and responds to my problems with thoughtful recommendations and questions. She really understands what I am going through and offers great advice when needed. Because of her, I have recommended BetterHelp to multiple friends and would continue to recommend it to others.

I honestly feel that if she was not my counselor that I would not have progressed as much as I have within the last 90 days especially during the pandemic and being out of work. I plan on remaining her patient for as long as we see fit.
