About me

George Brassea is the founder of True Heights Treatment LLC. After completing his graduate training at Olivet Nazarene University George became a LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) in the State of Illinois. After obtaining his licensure George earned a Masters of Business Administration with a specialty in healthcare leadership from Olivet Nazarene University.

George enjoys working with clients who are living with depression, workplace stress, life transitions and people who are racial or sexual minorities. He provides the clients he serves with a discrete and private office space. George believes in a collaborative, non-judgmental and open approach to psychotherapy. He considers his clients the expert on the issues they are facing. George hopes that his clients will understand more about themselves and the world around them after they end the counseling relationship.

In addition to George’s clinical work he was elected to the Chicago Heights City Council as Alderman of the 5th Ward in April of 2019. He lives with his wife, son, and pets. George spends his free time riding his bike, reading, listening to podcasts, and following the Chicago Bulls, Fire, White Sox and professional wrestling

Highly recommend. He made me feel comfortable addressing topics about which I haven’t opened up before, even in therapy.
