I have had 2 session thus far with George Dymiotis. He listens, offers good advice, help me work through my next steps, asks questions for more information. I also have been journaling in BetterHelp. He will read my journals, and he sends thoughtful responses to what I write so I know he really does take the time. The journaling has helped me avoid lengthy sessions explaining details of my past, and allows me to focus more on what to do with the challenges I am experiencing. I would recommend George!

George has been really supportive in me, taking what i say into account and morphing the way he tackles issues depending on how i respond. He is open to criticism and discussion about what his patients think are best as well as his advice and makes it feel like a much safer environment for conversation and to be open in.

From our first contact, George has been extremely kind and patient and understood my needs. I was looking for someone who would be understanding and open of less common spiritual beliefs, as well as LGBTQIA+ lifestyles, and he has been perfectly welcoming on both counts. I have always been stressed about getting therapy because I take a long time to warm up to someone and feel comfortable before talking about the more serious issues, and I didn't want to have to start bringing those up right away or feel like it was too late to talk about it further down the line. George understood this perfectly well, and has provided invaluable tools for me already without pushing me outside my safety zone. I appreciate everything I've learned from him so far, and I'm looking forward to our future sessions together!

I would recommend him to anyone who needs therapy.
