About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 16 years experience working with people in outpatient clinics, schools, community settings and military bases. My areas of specialty include depression and anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, marital and family conflict and cross cultural issues.

I utilize various therapeutic interventions to help others in pursing their professional, academic and/or personal goals. My approach is client-centered, holistic, multicultural, and integrative. My primary techniques are evidence-based including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused counseling.

As a a team, we start where you are and fashion the treatment approach to your needs while being sensitive to how your individual cultural and lifestyle choices impact your relationships and identity. I believe in creating a space where we can have difficult conversations, work on resolving issues and collaborate on treatment plans that are tailored to your personal needs and experiences.
