I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) working with individual, couples and families for over 28 years in North Carolina. Additionally, I hold a certificate in coaching which allows me to address employment issues, work-life balance needs and life coaching when needed. My practice has allowed me to help and support positive change for many people facing life's most challenging experiences. I work with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, communication and grief and loss on many levels. I believe in a positive and affirming approach to therapy. I am open-minded, warm and fully believe my clients have great value and opportunity for growth, change and improved perspective when taking advantage of what therapy has to offer.
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and solution-focused therapy. I believe through my work, using compassion, education and motivational techniques I can help you improve mood, circumstances and self-awareness for better health and life satisfaction. Providing a safe emotional space for my clients to process their concerns is paramount to me. Understanding what you want and using an interactive, sensitive and caring approach is my goal to supporting you as you reach your goals.

I am still early in my journey to better Me but from our very first session and each since Holly has been incredibly helpful, insightful, and able to start unwinding things to help understand my needs. I was hesitant to try therapy but now I look forward to my sessions and 'homework' and even take an extra session from time to time! Makes me wish maybe I'd reached out sooner.

Absolutely love Holly! She helped me with my anxiety and relationship difficulties. She gave me techniques to help cope with my verbally abusive relationship, and learn to redirect. I highly recommend her as a therapist.

After first session, I am so excited for this journey and to speak to Holly again. She listened well, assessed what she learned using her knowledge, and helped me understand myself better. 10 out of 10!

Holly has helped guide me through what is arguably the single most trying time in my life. I’m still not through the trees, but I’m so confident that with her guidance I’ll navigate safely through into the clear and onto better days, and end up a better person for it.
