These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Ida Whitaker. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Ida is very helpful and gives great tools to help you through your journey
She has been great in understanding our plight in dealing with Covid, not being successful with IFV twice, moving to a place of a new residence, mom moving in, getting married, and trying to find a job. She has been patient, persistent in listening, and allowing me to cope with my mistakes to try and make up for the lack of communicating in an accepting manner my wife can understand. I know we are on the right path it is just a hard road with obstacles.
I was so hesitant to begin any sort of therapy for my anxiety disorder but after meeting with Ida for the first time, I felt like I was just talking to an old friend;) The fear of being vulnerable and letting someone new into my story quickly faded. I felt heard, validated and seen. Something I haven't felt for quite a while. Ida is a wonderful listener and isn't afraid to share her faith journey and trust in God as part of the counseling experience. I am very thankful that BetterHelp matched us as we enter my mental health journey together!
Ida is warm and caring and consistently helps me to reframe my perceptions and feelings. She is also helpful in affirming my views and pushing me to see other possibilities.
Ida has been great with helping me build skills and tools to tap into when I’m feeling anxious. I would highly recommend her
Ida Is hella cool. Really smart lady who helps me look at things from a different perspectives. It’s always a pleasure to talk to her and figure some personal issues out. She’s dope 10/10
I wasn't really sure what I was hoping to get from therapy, since I was completely inexperienced with the process. Dr. Whitaker has been able to help me identify what I was struggling with, and has given me the tools to help me better respond to my environment. I feel that I can better handle stress and anxiety, and I am so glad I chose to seek help, and that she has been so wonderful in guiding me.
Keep up the great work. Thanks. She’s nice patience. Good listener. Participate on my thoughts worries fears and predicament stress anxiety and concerns that I’ve been having. Am currently at my worse but it helps had the sessions with her.
She is a tremendous help as I have never sought any kind of therapy and has given me many methods and materials to work with as well as other programs to help even more
