About Me

My name is Ilene L. Cooper, LCSW and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I provide safe, nonjudgmental counseling that will allow us to work together to reach your goals. I have over 20 years experience working with individuals, family issues and couples. This is an opportunity to reflect on what solutions are best to pursue, as well as a chance to reflect on how your history may have affected current issues. I have trained extensively in CBT and I am certified in Imago Relationship Therapy, and Mindfulness. I have studied with Drs. John and Julie Gottman and with Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples work. I would love the opportunity to help you make the changes you envision and to talk about what strategies and thought processes will best assist you in making changes to better your life, and your relationships. I specialize in a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, creativity, couples work, mood disorders, trauma, LGBT and social anxiety. . In addition, I am open to working with you on any issues you are struggling with to find a path to healing.
