Jacob "Jake" Willard, LPC
About me
I am an LPC in Oklahoma with 4 years of professional work experience seeing individual adult clients in both a private practice and agency setting. I work from a relational/psychodynamic model of therapy, which tends to put an emphasis on the relationship between client and therapist as the main agent of change. The type of therapy I offer tends to benefit those that are wanting to take a closer look at themselves, their relational patterns, and how these patterns might contribute to their current emotional distress. When working with clients, I'm hoping to come alongside them to understand their personal experiences, and help them work towards change that feels meaningful to them.
I know starting the therapy process can be difficult, and sometimes the first step feels like the hardest. If you're wanting to start your own process, or aren't sure where to start, please feel free to reach out.
