Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for James Dion. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Honestly, I knew I needed some help but I didn’t realize just how much help I actually needed until I downloaded a “silly” app I’d seen on YouTube in a severe low point, and met my therapist James within hours. James is a super knowledgeable therapist and he’s made me really challenge my own beliefs on many things in a respectful and thought provoking way. He’s a very caring and powerful soul that is exactly what I needed in my life. I hope to maintain a relationship with him for many years and I owe it all to Better Help. I always thought the whole mental heath app stuff was a bit of a gimmick to be completely honest. I was completely wrong though, it’s easily the most powerful mental health tool that’s ever been created and it’s in your pocket with you all day every day. Between the classes, the group sessions, and the individual therapy, I am blown away by the level of commitment there is across the board. This app is whatever you make of it though. If you aren’t honest to yourself, you’ll never see the true benefits of what Better Help can do for you. James has been my guardian angel, but I pray whoever’s reading this finds theirs as well. Good luck on your journey!

Fantastic therapist. He really listens to me and helps me understand things about how my mind works, and guides it into a better direction. Only two sessions in and I can already tell a difference in my day to day thoughts.

James Dion has given my husband and I thoughtful and insightful reflections into our issue. He is very down-to-earth and pragmatic.

James is an absolute god send. I literally couldn’t imagine a better therapist. He is a pillar of support and understanding. After every session with James, I feel a weight has lifted off my shoulders and I can go forward as a better person, with a much clearer understanding of who I am. If you are able to have the pleasure of meeting him, I’m sure you will agree that there is something truly special about James. His expertise, life experience, compassion, kindness, and understanding without judgment or making you feel ashamed are some of the qualities that come to mind immediately. He is comforting and warm, yet he somehow still holds you accountable for yourself and challenges you to be the best you can be without being at all offensive or abrasive. He really helps me understand the “why” of it all and then gives me the tools and guidance to work through it in a way that really works. James is here to really help people and you can feel it in the sessions. It’s nice to have someone who truly cares and is invested in your well being and the best possible future for you. Thank you James, for all that you do. The world would be a better place with more people like you in it!
