About Me

I am a licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts with a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Lesley University. I have experience both as a crisis clinician, and as an outpatient therapist for adults. I do my best to provide each client with a pleasant and meaningful experience, combining cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing. As a therapist, my first job is to understand you as well as I can so that I can effectively partner with you in your journey toward more self-awareness. How refreshing it is to overcome internal obstacles, negative thoughts and self-defeating behavioral patterns! I thoroughly enjoy the therapeutic process and I look forward to working with you. Please note that I will respond to messages within 24 hours.

James got to know me well within just a few sessions. He is a deliberate and interactive listener. Very quickly he was providing useful insight for the challenges where I was seeking advice. Especially, I like the meeting summary he types during each session as it provides much continuity from session to session.
