My name is Jay and through personalized treatment, I help individuals access authentic emotional awareness and guide them towards true healing,
I am a licensed clinical social worker and therapist who has been providing mental health services directly to people for over 20 years. In addition, I was working in the mental health field for 3 years prior to earning my Masters Degree in Social Work, making it 25 years in the profession of directly helping others. I have worked successfully with clients of all ages who presented with a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders, stress, ADHD, relationship issues, struggles with parenting, substance use and abuse, career and job issues as well as survivors of trauma such as abuse and neglect.
My therapy style tends to be warm, supportive, flexible, relaxed and can easily be adaptable to whatever you feel is important to you. I treat everyone with the utmost respect and consider myself to be very sensitive and compassionate towards others. My approach tends to be eclectic and is a blend of several styles, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, humanism, strengths-based and mindfulness, with unconditional support serving as the common foundation. I tailor sessions to your specific needs and create treatment goals with diligence and an eye on your unique circumstances. I prefer to collaborate in a partnership with you in which you feel supported and validated.
I know that it takes courage and strength in order to look inwards and consider making a shift in any part of your life and I appreciate your willingness to do so and it's important to know that you do not have to do it alone.
I would welcome and greatly appreciate the opportunity to help you meet your specific needs and improve your life experience.
I look forward to meeting and working with you!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Jason Robichaud. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
jason is an awesome therapist. he really does care about his clients.
Jason has been more than I ever expected. I feel like I immediately felt comfortable enough to let my guard down and that he listens to exactly what I’m saying. Feeling heard and validated is so underrated and Jason nails it.
Really good to work with .
Jay somehow is completely professional but also playful and approachable, which is perfect for me! He listens to me and validates me in ways I didn’t think I needed. He’s effective and sharp! I give him my highest recommendation for anyone struggling with ADHD.
BetterHelp paired me with the perfect person to help me. We’ve had similar life experiences and share similar interests. Our talks are always very productive and I come away feeling much better.
Therapy has been a new and positive experience for me that I would suggest to anyone - both with regards to therapy as a whole and BetterHelp specifically. Jason quickly welcomed me with open arms, a warm smile, and was able to determine very quickly the driving priorities, struggles, and loves of my day to day life.
I’ve only had one session so far and felt a good connection during the time and Jason’s follow up message since then was obvious that he’s a great listener
Jay is amazing!
Really listens. He is supportive but still down to earth. Handles everything in a very flexible manner. It truly feels like you have someone supporting you. Overall great guy.
Jason is supportive and helpful. I would recommend him and Betterhelp to anyone.
Jason has helped bring my life back into control, has restored my trust in therapy and has been a great support person throughout my troubles. I appreciate him so much
Jay has been extremely helpful for me. He's a great listener and has useful advice. He is really good at both long-term strategising as well as dealing with short term immediate issues. I have really appreciated his help over the past few months.
I find Jason to be a very gentle and supportive in his approach. I appreciate it.
It’s great to have a set of listening ears who guide you to look at things from another perspective, thankfully for me that came in the form of Jason. I’ve been lucky to have had a very natural, easygoing therapist who helps me to navigate through my own feelings and experiences.
Amazing therapist - open, available, kind
Jay is really kind and easy to talk to. I have always felt awkward in therapy because I was never sure what to say or how to express what was bothering me, but Jay asks all the right questions. It’s clear he really wants to understand and make you feel heard.
