About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I hold a MA in Community Counseling from Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia, and a BA in Psychology from Montclair State University in New Jersey. I have been serving in the psychiatric field for over 18 years. As a mental health clinician, I provide professional counseling services and tools to assist clients, experiencing emotional and mental health challenges, on ways to rebuild their lives. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief, relationships, insecurity, low self-esteem and family issues. I have also worked with residential and outpatient clients. I am also a Licensed Minister, and for clients who are interested, I have a strong passion for incorporating spirituality and Christian counseling in treating emotional and mental health challenges.
My counseling style is one of acceptance, encouragement, and interaction. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution focus and narrative counseling. I will taylor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Jennifer is amazing! I couldn’t ask for a better therapist. She listens attentively and gives you guidance with practical ways you can improve your situation. The exercises she gives makes the journey so much better because she actually provides tools you can use in your everyday life. I think everyone can benefit from having Jennifer as a therapist!!
