About me

Relationships matter. Relationships with other people and relationships with ourselves are equally significant. For years I have been passionate about working with kids, adolescents, and adults in exploring life and how they fit. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist in North Carolina with 13 years of professional work experience; 11 years of providing individual and group therapy. Facing life and all it has to offer can be overwhelming, scary, and sometimes seem unbearable. I do not shy away from difficult topics or the elephant in the room (such as race, white privilege, LGBTQIA, male toxicity, gender issues, politics, trauma, substance use, bullying, suicide, etc.). It is my goal to create space for us to explore any and all topics you need to address, improve on, and/or process. You do not have to do this alone, and you lead the way. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Not sure where I would be today if it weren’t for Jessica.

Jessica was a perfect match for me and the issues we discussed together. She is a great listener and knows what questions to ask her patients to get the root of the problem. Her sense of humor and laidback demeanor provided a welcome environment while conducting therapy sessions online.

I scheduled this initial session with low expections considering a not so great past experience with online therapy through a different platform. I left the 1st session fwith Jessica eeling confident I had connected with the right person. Jessica is down to earth. She doesn't just listen, she "hears you". She actually seems passionate about what she does. I didn't feel judged and felt I could talk freely. It was like we were having an actual conversation instead of her just trying to "check the boxes". Excited to start my wellness journey with Jessica's support.
