About me

I am a Professional Clinical Counselor licensed in Virginia. I am also a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) and a Registered Peer Recovery Specialist (RPRS) with years of experience working with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, relationship issues, addiction, OCD, trauma, and family problems. I’ve also guided people on how to reach goals, make important life decisions, and helped them achieve their goals for a greater purpose for their lives.
My counseling style is client-centered, collaborative, Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I believe helping you process your emotions in a safe nonjudgmental environment, will allow you to feel more in control and safer before we get into heaver topics.
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, person centered. I am EMDR trained and I am in the process of obtaining my EMDR certification. Each person is unique and so is your treatment. We will work together to formulate a treatment plan based on your needs. Some of the techniques I’ve used in the past are journaling, homework assignments, mindfulness practices, worksheets, book referrals, and videos.
I look forward to getting to know you better and helping you to achieve your goals! My hours are Mon-Thurs 6am-1:30pm and Fri 6am-11am.

I connected with Jessica on our first session and our relationship is already being built into one I feel I can trust. She listens and provides helpful feedback and solutions that I can actually grasp and implement. She is genuinely invested in helping me and she has a true gift. I would recommend her to anyone dealing with narcissistic abuse and recovery and domestic abuse cases.
