About me

I am a psychotherapist licensed, in Texas and Kansas, with over 13 years of experience as a counselor and supervisor of therapists. I have worked with clients struggling with: depression, anxiety, relationship issues including physical trauma or emotional abuse.
I have served in community mental health, meaning direct care in home, working with individuals struggling with Schizophrenia, Bipolar, MDD and PTSD; this work allowed for a realistic view of how mental health affects family/ friends and how important it is to get everyone involved through education and skills training . I understand the workings of an inpatient facility , serving as a Program Manager at a private behavioral health hospital, and also serving as a Senior Financial Counselor for a large specialty hospital, where we assisted families secure funding for treatment .
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and solution focused therapy. Through our dialog, we will jointly formulate a treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

She's a great listener and a wise person. She knows when to let me go on with a stream of consciousness and when to interject to point out something worth additional consideration. I'm very happy to work with her and will continue to do so for a long time.
