About me

My name is Jill Wheeler. I am a Licensed Certified Mental Health Counselor with 8 years of experience, certified by the state of North Carolina. I have work for the Department of Defense and worked as an acute therapist in a psychiatric hospital unit, and several school systems. Currently, I work with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, school problems, and spiritual matters. My counseling style is non-judgmental, inviting, respectful, thought-provoking, and sensitive. My counseling approach combines solution-focused, and motivational interviewing. I will write my treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and take the first steps towards a change.
