I am a licensed clinical social worker living in NYC. I have been practicing for the past twenty years within a wide scope of disciplines. My most "traditional" work was at a comprehensive counseling center 15 plus years ago. There, I provided clinical counseling to patients with a wide variety of disorders, issues and concerns. My scope of practice included but was not limited to anxiety, depression and couples counseling. CBT, client-centered therapy and psychodynamic therapy were techniques most often deployed; however, I truly believe a talented clinician must not be married to any one modality. Adaptation is key to a successful life in my opinion, and this is a very important skill I have as a clinician. There is no cookie-cutter approach to psychotherapeutic work. When it comes to the therapeutic relationship, I tailor my treatment to the individual patients' needs. Additionally, I worked hand in hand with psychiatrists to ensure streamlined services when appropriate. I also led weekly groups focused around social anxiety disorders and we utilized role playing techniques to simulate real life possible encounters. Over the years my services morphed to become a true extension of myself in real-life. However, I still utilize more traditional therapeutic techniques as I see fit. In the latter scope, my sessions tend to be direct; without tradition psychotherapeutic boundaries. I worked with clients around their image of themselves and dating practices. I am passionate about overall wellness; mind, body and spirit. I love esthetics and fitness and hold licenses in both realms. I am also well versed in homeopathic practices where east meets west in treatments. Guiding my clients in this arena became a true extension of myself. I helped hundred of my patients gain the courage necessary to navigate the world of dating where the concept of "bigger/better" has become the underlying backbone. It has become so easy to fall into the temptation of seeking an "upgrade" rather than finding your true happiness. Of course, this naturally ties in with each individuals backstory and so it set a very natural stage for deeper work.
Currently, I see clients for both image wellness guidance as well as more general emotional disturbances. The theme seems consistent throughout. Most of us have a hard time getting out of our own way and we become overwhelmed with our symptoms. I will help you break it down so that you can work effectively to improve the most important relationship, your relationship to yourself!

She's very nice, made me feel comfortable and super helpful!
I’ve been working with Jodi for several months and she is great. She listens to my concerns and has worked with me to develop actionable approaches to better manage my anxiety. I feel I’m in a much better place since I started working with her and I recommend her to anyone who is looking for a thoughtful and experienced counselor.
Jordi is flexible in a sense where she doesnt just listen to me alone but also participates in my well being and the goals "I have set".
There were times where I had tangled everything together and she would reply in a full genuine way, almost like reminder.
I am the type of person that overcomplicates matters and she would tend to them by untying the knot of complications.
Our session(s) have been running for almost 4 months now and still continuing.
Jodi is very easy to talk to and down to earth. I appreciate that she relates to me with her own experiences. And that she is a fitness instructor, it helps to learn new tricks! I'm very grateful to have Jodi to talk to.
I have been with Jodi now for almost 2 months. My experience so far is really good. She is easy to talk to I feel some times I can't stop talking in our video sessions. She very understanding and well experienced. She gives you the feeling you talking to a close friend where it will be easier for her to find the problem you are facing. I will keep taking my sessions with Jodi, im really glad and happy
Jodi is simply the most incredible councillor. She is attentive and interested in the specifics of my personal issues. Furthermore she offers me practical solutions to work through my issues, rather than just sit and listen. Jodi has made what is an incredibly difficult personal time in my life seem manageable. I would wholeheartedly recommend her
I love Jobi Rosen so wise, so helpful and so attentive. I was truly blessed being match with her as my therapist. We honestly should be giving so much more to this therapist for listening and helping up overcome our troubles. Thank you so much Jodi Rosen for being a great person and guide.
Very down to earth and fun!
I found Jodi really down to earth and easy to talk to. She actually seemed to care and I felt like I wasn’t being judged in any way. She was also really flexible with her availability which was a bonus for me.
