About Me

Hi there, I am a licensed independent social worker with over 15 years of experience in the medical field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, and chronic health issues. Prior to working in the medical field, I worked in mental health clinics and helped patients manage and overcome life crises. I also specialize in helping people get connected with community resources for basic needs such as affordable housing, food, and health insurance.

My counseling style is warm, interactive, and solution-focused. I believe that listening well and meeting people where they are at emotionally, mentally, and in all aspects is key. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your own specific needs and what you would like to achieve.

I have only had one session with her and she seems to just have a great personality and amazing job at her profession I would recommend her to anyone

Jodi is great at listening and confirming what I'm feeling. She has provided some amazing techniques to help me cope with my issues. I’m very grateful to have matched with Jodi. She provides excellent resources for those that like to do the work on fixing spiraling thoughts and working to reframe unhelpful thoughts. I like that Jodi sets goals to encourage finding solutions, works with you on what you want to accomplish, provides her knowledge + skills to improve what one may be struggling with. For years I’ve been attending therapy and the cognitive behavioral approach has been most successful. For once I feel like I’m starting to grasp the concept of my core worth and not being bothered by external factors and working on my response to things out of my control.
