Jodi Warthen, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Idaho with over 10 years of working with families and over 7 years of working with veterans at the VAMC. I help families with trauma and parenting issues with children that are at risk for drug use and mental disorders. I also have worked extensively with individuals suffering from PTSD and trauma. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
I am a solution focused therapist and my goal is to not dwell on the past but find ways to make the future better and move past the trauma. Techniques I use are motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and mindfulness to name a few. I am excited to help you on your journey to self-discovery and to assist you with being able to move forward and past the bad things that have happened in your life.
I look forward to working with you!

Jodi's motivational interview technique is quire effective! She listens to understand and does not hesitate to remind her clients of their self worth. Highly recommend Jodi if you've experienced trauma, or are dealing with anxiety/depression.

Jodi is amazing kind and helpful. I feel comfortable telling her even the things I am most ashamed of because I know that she will help me and not judge me for anything. I really lucked out when I was matched with her.
