About me

Hello! My name is Jody "Nick" Nichols and I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker with over 35 years of experience. After serving for seven years in the USAF at Little Rock Air Force Base, I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology and my graduate degree in Clinical Social Work at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. When not counseling I enjoy being outside – hiking, bicycling, camping, outdoor sports and helping my wife with gardening.

I use many different therapy techniques such as Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Family Therapy. I have extensive experience practicing in multiple different settings, addressing a wide range of behavioral health issues and communication difficulties. I have learned that each individual is unique, and may require their own specific approach that best suits them. My ultimate goal is to help you gain insight, accomplish your goals, realize there is hope, and begin living in a way that is most healthy for you. I hope that each individual, couple and family might discover and learn to appreciate, enjoy and employ the special gifts, talents and abilities that God has carefully designed for each person. I would love to help you discover your full potential so that you may begin to live a more confident, peaceful and joyful life.
