Ka'Tora Dunn, LPCC, LPC
About me
Hi, I’m Ka’Tora Dunn, LPCC-KY and LPC-GA with over 5 years of experience who is deeply committed to creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and understood in the midst of life’s challenges. I specialize in working with adults, college-aged students, and diverse populations. I also support couples and families in all stages of life and transition. My clinical focus includes helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and the relational and personal stressors that often arise during periods of change and growth.
As a Christian counselor, my faith is an important part of who I am and how I show up in the therapeutic space. I also deeply respect and welcome clients from all backgrounds, beliefs, and worldviews. I believe counseling should be an open and inclusive space where every person feels honored, and I welcome the opportunity to support you in a way that aligns with your values and needs.
My approach is gentle, collaborative, and rooted in genuine care. I aim to meet you where you are—without pressure, judgment, or expectation. I will walk alongside you at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I believe healing grows through connection, trust, and feeling understood. I also believe in challenging and encouraging you when your growth relies on it, but always in a way that respects you.
In our work together, I tailor my approach to your unique experiences and goals, drawing from evidence-based practices to help you make sense of what you’re going through, build emotional resilience, and move toward meaningful change.
My hope is that therapy feels like a space where you can show up as your authentic self, process what’s been heavy, and gradually step into healing.
I look forward to working with you.
