I am an experienced psychotherapist, counsellor and hypnotherapist based in Kings Langley in Hertfordshire. My website is milestonetherapies.co.uk.
I work with clients with a range of issues via counselling, hypnotherapy or a combination of both. My specialist areas include anxiety (I am an affiliate for Anxiety UK) as well as bereavement (I do work for Cruse as a support worker and also as a supervisor). In addition, I specialise in confidence and self-esteem issues.
We all feel a little lost at times. Maybe you have had to face changes or challenges that you are finding difficult to deal with. Maybe you need to talk things through with someone impartial like me, who will hold your issues in a confidential, non-judgemental and safe space. Perhaps you need guidance and help in achieving your goals, whatever they may be. Remember that you are not alone. I am here to help you find your way and to live your best life. My style is warm and open.
I have a breadth of training which means I can work in a pluralistic way, using my skills to incorporate whichever techniques will serve you best at any particular time in your counselling journey.
Taking the first step is always the most difficult but please reach out to me and remember that your peace and happiness are worth investing your time in.

I am not doing therapy for long with her (3 sessions so far), but from the first moment on I knew she is “the one”. I felt confident talking about my issues and she offered me such a lovely safe space to share them. She is very empathetic and I feel that she supports me a lot. When writing her messages, Kate is always responding very fast. There is no time of the week where I feel neglected by her expertise. Also, during the sessions, no matter what type, Kate keeps the conversation perfectly in balance. I can talk long about my experiences and she knows when to hop in, ask questions and maybe redirect me.
I can really recommend her!

Kate, is incredible. She listens and helps me with my racing mind by supplying ideas, tasks. She also follows up on me doing regular check in, so even when I get lost in my own mind and forget to follow up, she does not. I highly recommend Kate!

Kate Wilson is the most wonderful person I have ever come in contact with. I have only talked to her for about four months but she has changed my life in so many ways. She is so kind, supportive and will be there for you in every way.
Could not recommend anyone more than Kate.

I've seen a lot of therapists over the years (not just on Better Help), and Kate is one of my favourites. I really looked forward to our weekly sessions. I felt that she had a good sense of when to listen and support me, and when to step in with questions and advice, and I always left the sessions feeling a bit better than when I'd gone in. I'm taking a break from Better Help, but when I come back, I hope to work with Kate again. I can definitely recommend her!

Kate has been so helpful, kind and non-judgemental. She has provided me with loads of information and new skills, and sent me worksheets to work with anxiety, adhd and negative thoughts. It's been a pleasure to be her client and I feel much better even after spending quite limited a time with her!
