Hello! My name is Kathleen Connolly. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 10 years. I have worked in a variety of settings with a wide diversity of populations. My clients have ranged in age from 22- 104. Much of my work has been helping people who are challenged with personal transitions and the many emotions that accompany them. This has included work, relationship, family conflict, aging, and caregiver issues. I have also helped people with depression, anxiety and low self- esteem issues. Change is difficult but inevitable. You don’t have to go through it alone. I am here to help.
I believe the therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist is the most important aspect of therapy. I see therapy as journey of self-discovery for each client. I can help guide you through your journey to a better understanding of your strengths and weakness. Being matched with Kathleen Connolly is one of the best things to come out of 2020 for me. She is able to make you feel heard, seen, and valued even with it being virtual at this time. (which is not an easy feat) If you need someone right now who can give you tools to help you with whatever you're going through, Kathleen has all the tools. She gives you accountability but without the guilt that follows if you can't deliver. She is more than a therapist, she is a confidante, crusader, advocate. She is someone you need in your corner.
In just a few meetings, Kathleen has provided me with effective and realistic coping strategies to use for my anxiety. She has helped me manage difficult interpersonal relationships and has been easy to open up to.
