About Me

Hello! My name is Kathleen Connolly. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 10 years. I have worked in a variety of settings with a wide diversity of populations. My clients have ranged in age from 22- 104. Much of my work has been helping people who are challenged with personal transitions and the many emotions that accompany them. This has included work, relationship, family conflict, aging, and caregiver issues. I have also helped people with depression, anxiety and low self- esteem issues. Change is difficult but inevitable. You don’t have to go through it alone. I am here to help.
I believe the therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist is the most important aspect of therapy. I see therapy as journey of self-discovery for each client. I can help guide you through your journey to a better understanding of your strengths and weakness. I will help empower you to make the most of your strengths and help you successfully meet your challenges. Please Note that I only see clients via video messaging. At this time I have limited availability.

Being matched with Kathleen Connolly is one of the best things to come out of 2020 for me. She is able to make you feel heard, seen, and valued even with it being virtual at this time. (which is not an easy feat) If you need someone right now who can give you tools to help you with whatever you're going through, Kathleen has all the tools. She gives you accountability but without the guilt that follows if you can't deliver. She is more than a therapist, she is a confidante, crusader, advocate. She is someone you need in your corner.

In just a few meetings, Kathleen has provided me with effective and realistic coping strategies to use for my anxiety. She has helped me manage difficult interpersonal relationships and has been easy to open up to.

I have been working with Kathleen for several months now, and throughout that time she has validated my feelings and experiences, helped me with personal and economic opportunities and takes time to ensure I feel listened to and supported. I recommend BetterHelp to my friends now because of our positive interaction.

Kathleen has done wonders for me, ranging from self esteem work to relationship reassurance to stress/anxiety/work life balance assistance, to friends/family boundary setting and the list goes on.

Kathleen was able to get to the root of these problems, helps me understand them and look at them with an entirely new light. I was given the tools to not only cope but to take control of my problems and turn them into strengths.

Within my first few months of therapy, I sat up straighter, had more energy, spoke with confidence;... I simply became the person I wanted to be in both my relationship and professional life.

I highly recommend Kathleen and plan on checking in as need be.

i don’t think i could’ve found a better more supportive counselor. it’s been a long time since i’ve seen one but she really has created such a safe space for me to express my feelings. i’m taking baby steps right now but i can see myself making so much more progress with her.

Kathleen has been an immense help in a turbulent time in my life. I feel very comfortable talking to her and it’s like talking to a friend but a friend with a plethora of knowledge and amazing substantial advice. Her support and advice have helped me short and long term from daily tasks that she’s given me, to breathing techniques and lifestyle habits that make a big difference overall. Her outlook, philosophy and morals really abide with my own. I’ve found refuge in her support at a time where I felt very much alone.
