I have been a licensed therapist since 1992. I was first licensed in California and held a license in Louisiana for several years until I moved to Georgia. I have been an LPC in Georgia since 2002 where I am also a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. Over the years I have worked in Community Behavioral Health and maintained a private practice. When the Covid Pandemic forced me to work virtually I found that my clients enjoyed the ease of meeting from their homes. This method of practice also allowed me to meet with my clients at times that were most convenient to them. My clients have brought many issues to our sessions including abuse and trauma, depression, stress and anxiety, co-occurring issues, family conflicts, life transition issues, lack of self esteem and confidence as well as communication issues.
I provide a safe and validating environment where clients feel comfortable and are able to share their intimate concerns. I am non judgmental, caring and am concerned about my clients growth and happiness. I am adept at many approaches to counseling including Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Mindfulness, Trauma Focused, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Client Centered Therapy and Existential Therapy. Putting it simply, I work with you to help you find peace and happiness. Everyone deserves a fulfilling life and I would honor the opportunity to go on the journey with you.

Great listener who helped me feel seen and heard while I was in my appointments, made a point to reach out when I missed appointments and wanted to know how I was. Great at helping me figure out how I was feeling and offering advice and solutions for dealing with grief and depression
Kay has been great to work with. She balances kindness and great listening skills with the ability to redirect and helping you hold yourself accountable. She has helped me to reframe my thinking, be mindful of judgment of others, placing expectations on others, and reminding me to always show up as the best version of myself. This has helped tremendously with unhealthy relationships that I have battled for a while as well as helping me define who I am and who I want to be.
Kay has been extremely helpful in identifying my mental and emotional issues as well has offering advice on how to manage and cope with these issues. I feel that I am benefiting very much from our sessions
She listens without judgment, and has helped me greatly in regulating my mood.
Kay is a great listner. She also gave me some suggestion to help improve my lifestyle. She is compassionate but also help me realize things i need to do to make a change.
