Hi Everybody ! BH is terrific and I am so pleased that you have found the courage to ask for help here :) I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in the States of Texas and Washington with over 15 years of experience. I work in private practice with clients having a broad range of concerns, including anxiety-related disorders, clinical depression, PTSD as well as Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. I also have extensive experience working with children and their families.
I have broad experience with a large variety of populations, including Veterans and Trauma survivors. Since I worked as a medical social worker for a significant number of years - I have also worked with women and men struggling with cancer and chronic pain - as well as the rare diseases: infantile nephropathic cystinosis, intermediate cystinosis and non- nephropathic cystinosis. I have experience with Huntington's disease as well.
Additionally, I enjoy helping patients who suffer with infertility-related problems. This was a personal journey close to my heart that also led me to want to help women who are struggling to have a baby and those who have suffered a miscarriage or a stillbirth.
My counseling approach is warm and interactive. My clinical approach consists of multiple theoretical backgrounds. A few include : humanistic, dialectical behavior counseling, mindfulness, acceptance therapy, cognitive-behavioral counseling and counseling aimed at helping those to resolve trauma. The only time that I would incorporate psychoanalytic counseling would be to help the client to understand how the past could be contributing to her or his present circumstances. I do not consider stigmatizing labels to be beneficial in the helping process. When I am not working in the field of counseling - I work at my fundraising business to help women get their lives put back together following assault or domestic violence. I also volunteer for an organization that helps to stop domestic minor sex-trafficking.
It takes determination to seek a more rewarding and happier life. If you are ready to take steps toward change then I will be with you to support and to empower you ! I am pleased that you are here at Betterhelp.

The thing I most appreciate about Kelly is the fact that she respects my beliefs and values and is willing to work within that framework.
In addition, I also appreciate her flexibility in working with me through some of my technological challenges as my internet is perhaps not the most up to date.
I absolutely love working with Kelley Sullivan! She is a blessing in my life!
She’s the best. Hands down. ❤️❤️❤️
Kelley is amazing. A rock in uncertain times. I feel very comfortable with her.
She is amazing, and really wants to listen and help you. She also checks in which is nice, if your a busy person like me, since then it makes me ask myself how I am doing at a mental level. 100% would recommend to a friend.
Kelley is kind and understanding. In our brief time so far it has been my best counseling experience. She has been a fantastic fit.
Awesome, very patient as my life has been a bit chaotic since we started and Kelly still cares, listens, advises, offers suggestions etc. God Bless her!
In the short time I have spoken with Kelley Sullivan, I have felt both comforted and supported in my road to over-coming grief. Her insight, willingness to help, and forethought have been instrumental in getting me back on track and back to a health place of living.
Kelley is wonderful. My only less than great experience thus far was doing a phone session instead of a video session. Ours could essentially not be helped, so I understood, but without that video component I noticed I felt completely disconnected from her. Also, if Kelley is able to set up a regular tome and day for me, that will be wonderful! But overall I think she is a perfect counselor for this site. She’s skilled, she’s genuine, and she’s very kind.
Kelley is an amazing counselor who truly cares about the people she's helping. She's empathetic, knowledgeable, and great at listening. Kelley helped me learn how to cope with my PTSD and how to have healthier and happier relationships. Since working with her I have overcome the worst of my mental illness and found out how to enjoy life again. I'm really grateful that I got to work with her!
I am so happy to have been matched with Kelley! She is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and helpful. I always look forward to our sessions, and am so glad I can communicate with her at any time! I highly recommend her as a counselor ❤
She is an amazing woman and therapist and I am so very happy that I was put with her. I’m glad that this is a resource for introverts like myself.
She is great. Listens and response to my concerns and issues in a comforting yet professional way. She always stays in contact and works around schedules.
Kelley has been very supportive and gets tight down to business. She has respected my boundaries and tries things out of box to get me the help I need.
Kelley is an incredible empathetic, caring and helpful counselor. It is so nice to know that someone is in my corner, fighting with me and for me to reach my mental health goals. I recommend Kelley very highly.
Kelley is a very sympathetic person and really takes the time to listen and give great advice!
She is very empathetic. Her schedule is flexible so she is easy to work with. So far, I'm really liking her.
Kelley S is patient and knowledgeable—a great combination for counseling! She understands overwhelming feelings and emotions well and has excellent expert experience and advice to offer. Of course learning takes practice to actually do the things you know, but Kelley is there to cheer you on and ask the right questions for self-reflection and self-love. Kelly leads the way to uncover why we do the things we do and knowing the truth and roots of behaviors and thoughts allows them to be adjusted and shifted for the better. Thank you Kelley for connecting with me and helping me become something stronger and not merely just doing stronger things.
Kelley is the best counselor I've had hands down. She is very compassionate and understanding, she never makes me feel bad about my feelings even if I'm already feeling that way. I feel like I can talk to her about anything.
She is super helpful and even with my reservations in communication she pushes me to talk about what is bothering me and my key points.
Kelley is a wonderful counselor! She’s always there when I need to talk, she takes her time to really listen and she never tries to tell you something you don’t want to hear (I’ve had that a lot with psychologists). Kelley is such a warm and empathic person and having her as my psychologist has really helped! I can only recommend Kelley to anyone who’s still unsure about who they want to open up to. Thanks for everything Kelley!
Kelly is an excellent listener. She is always available just to even share a small thought with. She is comforting, encouraging and is an excellent support system. She affirms me and helps me realize my potential and what my successes are. She read a book chapter by chapter with me which I thought went above and beyond. She is truly great.
Kelley is very empathetic, tries to listen and talks whenever she can. She will accomodate your schedules the best she can for sessions. Its great having someone who will respond and not have you wait days...
Kelley has helped me so much in such a short time. I am so glad I decided to get counseling and that I was matched up with Kelley. I am hoping after the free week that I can keep talking to her. I think it was meant for us to be matched up because her daughter has the exact same name and spelling as I.
Thank you so much, Kelley, I thank God and the angels they brought us together.
Kelly has been amazing! Going through the toughest part of life right now. She pushes you to talk about stuff that is painful but needs to be said. Love that she cares. She is amazing!
I have been counseling with Kelly for 7months and I am so grateful that I met her. She is just so amazing!!!! She is caring, understanding and knowledgeable. I could feel that she really really cares about me and all of her patients. She has helped me out to get over my problems and I love to work on my things with her. I feel like I have grown up and become stronger mentally, emotionally and also physically ever since I met her. Thank you so much, Kelly!!! And Betterhelp :)
Kelley is great! She is very understanding, patient, very flexible to those with busy schedules, and easy to connect and communicate with.
Kelly is attentive, caring, warm, and welcoming. I always look forward to our sessions. She is flexible, always making her client a priority. Encouraging, but never pushy, and it is very clear she cares about her clients.
Kelley Sullivan is an incredible person. She's helped me see clearly and feel so much better about myself.
Working with Kelley has brought me even more, knowledge and tools I can use when I need them. She has been there for me when I really need support, whether it be knowledge or just a listening ear. I know I can always reach out to her. BetterHelp has given me a convenient and affordable way to get the help that I need when I need it. It also gives me that little bit more control over my life that I've been looking for. Not to mention the fact medium also suits my busy lifestyle and personality very well. The mobile app provides a discrete way for me to communicate wherever I am and allows me to reread messages quickly. I have had some unpleasant experiences both in traditional psychotherapy treatment as well as online, but Kelley has made the second attempt with better help worth it. She is very warm, responsive, genuinely cares and is authentic, I am so glad I asked to be matched with her and look forward to continuing the positive trajectory we are on together!
Kelley is a great counselor! She is very attentive and genuinely listens to what I have to say. She is very knowledgeable about exercises that would benefit in helping me grow in a positive way. Very helpful!
Kelley is wonderful and kind, and not at all overbearing. I have nothing but nice things to say about Kelley. She is great!
There is so much I could say about Kelley, that would leave you with positive thoughts about her. I am in a profession where it is difficult for me to share my thoughts and feelings about my personal life. Kelley has been so kind, patient, and gentle in her approach with me: I have been able to open up and share details about my life that I never thought I would share, and I haven't felt judged or less of a person because of it. I am incredibly thankful for the amount of time and love she had poured into me, I could not have asked for more. Thank you, for everything, Kelley.
Kelley has provided me with support and guidance in so many areas. Mainly her availability has helped me tremendously. I like the resources she provides me with and her kindness.
Mrs. Sullivan has been SO much help to me over the last few months and I honestly do not know what I would have done with out her help. I know she REALLY cares and is a counselor BECAUSE she cares. I am TRULY grateful that I decided to use BetterHelp due to getting matched with Mrs. Sullivan as my counselor. I will look forward to receiving counseling from Kelley Sullivan in the near future. Thank you.
I have to be honest... I wasn't too sure about BetterHelp. I was concerned about online counseling and opening up to someone I couldn't actually see. But I'm here to tell you that Kelley made me feel at ease from the start. She is genuine, caring and is always there when I need her the most. Because of that I have been able to work more diligently on anxieties and the stressors that cause them. She is wonderful and I would highly recommend here to anyone.
Kelley is truly amazing and caring.
Kelley has been of great help to me during a very difficult period in my life. Not only is she empathetic, professional and caring, she truly cares about people and this was reflected in her attitude and daily contact with me. I can't recommend her enough to others who need someone to talk to, need support, and need a sounding board during difficult issues and problems. Better help was a great medium through which to contact Kelley and keep daily contact. I would highly recommend Kelley to anyone needing a counsellor!
Kelley has been awesome. She's attentive, attuned, always available, and checks in on me regularly. I had been suffering some mild depression from too much family drama combined with health issues, and her support has helped me move through the challenges. Thank you Kelley!
Kelley has been amazing. Her candor, insight and advice has really helped me out during a tough time. I am impressed with her insight and she always gave me the advice I need. I highly recommend her!
Wonderful woman, very patient, kind and helpful. I was anxious to go through some of the feelings I feel but she is very supportive.
I've been working with Kelley for a couple of months. She's my second try at BetterHelp, and the second time was the charm for me. Kelley is great to talk to and checks in if she doesn't hear from, which is hugely important to my sense of being cared for. Just knowing she's there gives me an extra layer of support against the challenges the world throws at me on a daily basis. I highly recommend working with her if you have the chance.
I believe that Kelley cares about people. She seems kind and caring.
Kelley has been amazing, thoughtful, supportive and insightful.
Kelley was a pleasure to work with and her support and kindness was a great help. She always got back to me quickly with something positive and thoughtful. I was very pleasantly surprised to get 'better help' online than I ever did from in person counselors. Kelley Sullivan is a rare and wonderful find!
Very good problem solver!
