It's been my privilege to serve individuals who have struggled with life issues that have made their lives difficult for them. These issues often lead to depression, anxiety and low-self esteem depending on they are processed and how we think about them. I have been helping people deal with these life issues and resulting inner conflicts for over 40 years. With a Masters in Counseling and my professional and personal experiences, I am in a unique position to provide you with a variety of approaches and strategies to resolve these conflicts. I believe that the way in which we think about an incident in our lives often determines how we feel and behave. Therefore, using Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy I help individuals consider how they tend to think about traumatic and other life events and help them re-frame their thoughts into more productive thoughts. Where do l even begin. Dr.Kim is one of the most amazing therapist l have worked with, he is compassionate and very understanding. He has been my therapist for the last two months and he helped me achieve my goal.He was always there whenever l needed to talk and he provided materials to help with my situation. Mr. Haws quickly established rapport with me as a client through empathetic listening and discernment. It meant the world to have someone take in my history and hear my story with compassion and kindness and with the ability to quickly identify areas that need to be addressed and worked on through counseling.
I have already told anyone l come across who is looking for therapy or just “help” in general that isn’t necessarily excited about seeing a therapist that BetterHelp is an amazing alternative to traditional weekly in office therapy. The journaling and messaging options are amazing for people who struggle with talking about what’s in their head but are more comfortable writing and better at conveying in written form.
Although I spoke to Mr. Kim only twice, I do really feel satisfied and pleased to talk to him, he is trustworthy, expert, and can understand you very well, I recommend him.
Have received guidance on anger issues and everyday handling of challenging situations. This has helped how I manage and interact with others and inspiring me to have a better outlook and not blame myself if things are going against me.
I like his helpful suggestions for avoiding escalation when arguing. I now have the words "reframe", and "expectations" and "Triggers" in my vocabulary, and I'm becoming more aware of where my expectations are coming from, and how to avoid holding people to them when it's not appropriate.
Doctor Kim has helped me see my problems more clearly and has offered ways for me to better cope with them. I look forward to talking with him and hearing his opinion when I struggle with something. It is like hearing advice from a good friend that wants what's best for me.
