Dr. Kimberly Deus Sullivan, LMHC
About me
Hello, my name is Dr. Kimberly Deus Sullivan. I am a psychologist with a wide range of different skills that I have gained by working for over 30 years in the field.
The clients that I see are individual adults, children, and adolescents. The approach of counseling that I utilize addresses your physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. I have done a lot of work with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, ADHD, kids who are being bullied, and children/adolescents with specialized school plans. I have also worked with clients going through divorce and custody issues.
My therapeutic style is an integrative, client-centered approach that creates a safe listening environment. I promote growth with my clients by offering a safe, accepting atmosphere, so that my clients can feel heard, validated, and supported. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques that include Behavioral, Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness Therapies. I use several tools in my sessions, such as podcasts, books and clinical tools to help my clients utilize the best of their therapeutic experiences.
I have been married for 25 years, have two teenage boys and a dog who rules our house. I have had the privilege of working in clinical settings such as private practices, schools, churches and universities. I also have worked in clinical inpatient behavioral health settings and intensive outpatient settings.
