I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina and Texas. I graduated from North Carolina State University and I graduated in 2011 with my Master of Social Work degree. I have worked in the social work field for over 19-years and my career, is my life passion. I love working with people and sharing in their plight in this life. I am a therapist, that take pride in listening to your story. I believe that you are the expert, regarding things in your life. I have been known to work well with complicated situations and provide a calm to the storm.
I utilize a Person-Centered Approach , Brief Solutions Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Gottman Method and the Humanistic Approach in my practice. These approaches will establish a basis for you to set-goals and assist you towards reaching your goals. After 4 Months of Counseling with Kizzy, I am finally ready to move on by myself. This is mostly thanks to Kizzy and her high expertise in listening , recomforting and advising. I came in counseling 4 months ago with the idea that it would probably not work. I can tell you right now that I was wrong. I have seen huge improvements in my personal life (anxiety, communication and relationship issues). Coming from a culture where counseling is considered like "useless", it blew my mind and I was proved that it is one of the best things you can do in time of hardship.
