About me

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-approved supervisor in Missouri, I bring over 12 years of expertise to our sessions. My integrated approach draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, humanistic, psychotherapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Together, we'll customize a treatment plan to address your individual needs, utilizing a range of counseling tools to tackle issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and life transitions, including trauma.

In addition to my counseling expertise, I specialize in compassion fatigue, chronic disease management, and empowering individuals to achieve their life goals. Whether you're grappling with the demands of caregiving, navigating chronic health conditions, or seeking to regain control of your life, I'm here to support and guide you toward positive change and fulfillment.

I strive to cultivate a welcoming and non-judgmental space where you can freely express your thoughts and emotions. Embarking on a journey toward a more fulfilling life can evoke a mix of emotions—fear, excitement, and stress. I'm here to provide unwavering support and empowerment as you navigate this path. Together, we'll identify and address any obstacles hindering your progress, enhancing your coping mechanisms and response strategies to help you realize your true potential and live the life you deserve.

She is amazing

I’ve only had 2 sessions so far but I can tell you she is amazing. She is extremely personable and makes me feel comfortable talking to her. She has been doing this for awhile and you can tell by the way she’s able to pick out things you normally wouldn’t see while talking things out. Very responsive and flexible with scheduling and I feel like she genuinely cares about me and my mental health.

In the 3 or 4 sessions with Kristine we have gone over a lot. She has helped me notice warning signs for my anger, she sends me homework to be able to manage some of the things I've been struggling with and gives me skills to manage my struggles. Over all she's been professional and an amazing therapist!

Kristine is really easy to talk to.
I love that she takes the same jumble of feelings and words that I live with daily, and see patterns, and makes sense of it.
We have had one session, but the worksheets and journal work is helpful .

Kristine listens deeply and offers thoughtful guidance on how to handle what you’re going through. She helps you take things step by step, making it easier to integrate new habits, communication styles, and ways of thinking into your daily life. She really supports you in working through things and going deeper into why you think the way you do. I find myself learning something new about myself in every session, along with practical ways to support my own growth. She’s amazing.
