Kryse Skye, LCSW
I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 19 years and am located in the State of Maine. My experience comes from working in a mental health agency and for a hospital outpatient program with the vast majority of my time being spent in private practice. I have seen clients from ages 2 to 94 with my clients being men, women, teens, children and families. If I were to say that I specialize in anything it would be trauma. As a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I understand trauma from a professional perspective as well as understanding trauma from a personal perspective. In regards to my personal life I love children, animals, cooking, reading, coloring, music, spending time with my 9 month old granddaughter, and most anything water related most especially paddle boarding.
Additional areas of focus: LGBT, Relationship issues, Intimacy-related issues, Eating disorders, Sleeping disorders, Anger management, Career difficulties, Depression, Coping with life changes, Compassion fatigue, Hospice and End of Life Counseling

Sometimes the universe gives you what you need, even if you don't know you need it. Somatic experience therapy is something I never knew existed until I met Kryse, but it was exactly what I needed to heal past traumas, learn how to better manage triggers and anxiety, and move forward in my life in a more positive way. I highly recommend Kryse. She is very uplifting, empathetic, intuitive, wise, and is just a pleasure to work with.

This has helped me work on the things I need to in a way that addresses them wholly, helps me see and honor my progress, and feels like it will help me most in the long term. The tools and insights she shares have been helping me so much as I move through life's challenges, and leave me feeling empowered and capable to do so.
