About me

Hello! My name is Larissa Rzemienski and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and School Counselor in the state of Arizona. I attended Arizona State University for my Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1998 and Master of Counseling degree in 2001. I also have an M.B.A. in Marketing and Ed.S. degree in Educational Leadership.

I have been working as a counselor for over 20 years, and I have had a wide array of experiences during this time. I have served as a suicide hotline supervisor, probation counselor, tele-health counselor (marriage, individual, and teen counseling), and high school guidance counselor. In addition to counseling, I also teach Master of Counseling college students and I am a yoga teacher. I have worked with clients of all ages, and my specialties include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, meaning of life, grief, and much more. I really enjoy working in the telehealth field, and I have been seeing clients virtually for about 4 years. Telehealth is a great modality for treatment as it provides convenience and various options for services. In terms of the treatment modalities that I utilize, I tend to use Client Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The approach that I use for each client will differ depending on the needs of the client. I am available via messenger, phone, or video.

In my personal life, I enjoy practicing and teaching yoga, learning about psychology and history, hiking, hanging out with my pet rabbit, investing, and spending time with my college age daughter. I reside in Phoenix, Arizona.

I look forward to talking with you!

Larissa Rzemienski, Ed.S., M.C., L.P.C.
