Latonya Boothe, LPCC, LPC
About me
As a licensed therapist, I specialize in supporting clients of various ages from 13-55+ through life's complex challenges. My approach centers on helping individuals, couples, and families cultivate self-love, navigate communication difficulties, and discover their deeper life purpose. With expertise in addressing depression, anxiety, stress, and relationship dynamics, I create a compassionate space for healing from trauma and processing difficult emotional experiences.
My therapeutic practice is grounded in supporting clients as they move through significant life transitions, address difficult past experiences, and navigate present challenges, with a goal of enhancing personal development. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as my primary approach, although I can additionally draw from a trauma-informed perspective to empower individuals to develop resilient coping strategies and build meaningful connections with themselves and others.
I bring cultural sensitivity and a deep commitment to creating an affirming, supportive environment for clients seeking understanding and growth. If preferred, I am also able to assist clients of faith through providing work guided by a Christian-informed approach that respects each person's unique spiritual and emotional journey.
