About me

Are you feeling overwhelmed, affected by stress, anxiety, or relationship conflicts? Is depression getting in the way of enjoying your everyday life? Together, we can work toward solutions to get you unstuck and living a more peaceful, enjoyable life.

If past trauma or limiting beliefs and behaviors keep you in distress, I will help you empower yourself by reframing the negative narrative you've been saying to yourself and show you how to replace it with a stronger sense of well-being.

You're in the right place to be heard, to start feeling better, more grounded and reconnected with your life.

I enjoy working with individuals - from young adults to senior citizens. My work targets trauma recovery, limiting beliefs, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, and life adjustments. I want to add that I do not have training in addiction recovery nor do I provide parenting skills/coaching.

We will collaborate on treatment goals that are easy to understand and easy to apply to your everyday life, including optional practice exercises to try in-between sessions.

My experience in trauma-informed counseling has included combat veterans, adult children of abuse, and those suffering from immediate stress or trauma, such as mass shootings or natural disasters, as well as ongoing stressors from adverse experiences.

If you're seeking faith-based counseling along with your clinical counseling, I am Catholic and offer Christian-based assistance.

Take the first step toward help. Contact me for more information through your betterhelp portal or https://www.betterhelp.com/laurel-clement/

I look forward to meeting you.

I look forward to my sessions personally and academically - Laurel is great. Your platform however needs work - as I predominately use IPad it is very clunky - needs some work on this.

Laurel Clement is an excellent therapist. I have been with her for several months and am seeing more improvement and breakthroughs than I had with the 7 years I had with my previous therapist. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive. She listens carefully, picks up on what issues I might be ignoring, and helps me to address these in the sessions. I have a lot of trauma and have been diagnosed with CPTSD and Major Depressive Disorder. It is hard for me to trust people, yet, I trust Laurel Clement. I can tell that she cares about helping others and has true empathy for those around her. She is attentive and is always quick to respond if I have an issue. She is very intuitive and it amazes me. I feel privileged to be working with her and would highly recommend her.
