Lisa Grady, LPC
About me
I have over a decade of experience in the Mental Health field with a substantial history in substance use counseling, working with individuals who were incarcerated. Females with co-occurring disorders in a controlled environment. I moved to working with an exclusive male population, where I assisted them to gain skills to overcome life's difficulties. As I, myself, gained skills and knowledge I moved into working with those within my community seeking services. I helped people seeking individual services as well as leading group counseling sessions which has always been a part of my therapeutic styles.
Working with competency restoration, probation and parolees gave me a guided sense of purpose and a knowledge of the law.
I have also worked with trauma informed care, military and those seeking a better way of life. I have worked with individuals within the TDCJ system. In my journey I have worked with those that deal with unforeseen life challenges, whether through a life choice or an unimaginable circumstance. My focus has always been on helping.
