Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Lisa Hilton. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I am incredibly grateful to have found my therapist. She has helped me work through the grief of losing my son, Cooper, in a way that has allowed me to begin understanding not only my grief, but also myself.

One of the things we’ve been working on is identifying my “saboteurs” and understanding the ways they can work against me. Through that process, I’m learning so much about myself, especially how strongly my Pleaser shows up and how often I put other people’s needs, feelings, and happiness ahead of my own.

She has created a space where I feel safe enough to be honest, vulnerable, and really look at the parts of myself that aren’t always easy to face. She helps me see things differently and we will soon be working on tools to understand why I respond to situations the way I do.

Grief is something I will carry for the rest of my life, but therapy is helping me realize that I can learn to carry it differently. I want to learn to understand myself, set healthier boundaries, stop abandoning my own needs to make everyone else comfortable, and give myself the same compassion I so freely give to others.

I’m still a work in progress, but I’m genuinely becoming a stronger, more self-aware version of myself. I’m very thankful for her guidance, patience, compassion, and the safe space she has given me through one of the hardest seasons of my life.

She's a lovely therapist and a great human being. I suffer from emetophobia, and it progressively got worse until I met Lisa Hilton. She is extremely kind, caring, and empathetic. Lisa has been working with me for about 8 months, and I can confidently say her guidance has given me the strength to face my phobias and discover who I am as a person. 10/10 would recommend her as a therapist.

It's such a relief to have someone to talk to, that has been through the same things and understands my struggles.
