About me

Hello and thanks for visiting my profile. I'm a Person Centred Counsellor (BSc Hons) EMDR practitioner., and member of the BACP.
Being Person Centred means that the sessions I offer are client led valuing the experience of the client as an individual. At times, our journey in life can feel like we need some extra support or someone to hear us. I believe I can be that person to turn to, as well as providing a safe, non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts and feelings. Our aim during the sessions will be to make you feel empowered to find your own solutions to any issues you bring to therapy.
Alongside running my practice I work with young people in alternative provision as a counsellor. I have knowledge and experience of working with those that have additional learning needs, and those that find themselves in non mainstream education through personal circumstance. I also have vast experience of domestic abuse and the effects of narcissism.
I understand that taking the first step into counselling can sometimes feel daunting, but I believe everyone deserves to be heard about their personal hurt and pain. It can be hard to reach out for help but feel free to get in touch to start your journey. Lisa x

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Lisa Kinsella. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Lisa was so understanding to my situation and was so easy to talk to. I felt at ease to discuss things I've never shared with anyone and that has helped me hugely on my journey. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lisa.

A very safe space to talk about whatever is weighing heavy on my heart. It's like having an understanding, non-judgemental friend.
