About me

Welcome! My name is Lugannys Soto and I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida, and a National Certified Counselor. I have eight years of experience working with at-risk children, adolescents, adults and their families in a community mental health setting. I have worked directly with clients with a wide range of concerns including stress, anxiety, substance abuse, anger management, communication, parenting problems, ADHD, and family conflicts.

My counseling style is interactive, strength-based, and collaborative. I believe in the therapeutic relationship and building good rapport with my clients to create a safe space to have open dialogues about their concerns. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. We will work collaboratively to discover strategies and solutions that work best for you. My approach combines person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Being aware of your needs and seeking help is a difficult yet courageous choice. If you are ready to take that step, I would be honored to walk with you on this healing journey, to support you, and empower you towards the path to wellbeing.

I look forward to working with you!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Lugannys Soto. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I genuinely feel like I’ve found the perfect therapist for me. She is incredibly understanding, patient, and compassionate, especially during the moments when I struggle to put my own emotions into words. She has a way of helping me untangle my thoughts, look at them from different perspectives, and better understand myself without making me feel like I need to have everything figured out.

One of the things I appreciate most is her ability to strike the perfect balance between allowing me the space to work through things on my own and stepping in with guidance when everything starts to feel overwhelming. She challenges me to reflect and grow while also making sure I feel supported throughout the process.

Her ability to create a safe space is truly incredible. I feel comfortable letting my guard down and showing up as my full, unfiltered self, messiness and all, without worrying about being judged or feeling like I’m too much. She makes me feel heard, understood, and accepted, even on the days when I struggle to understand myself.

She is always energetic and uplifting, yet her voice and presence are so calming. She brings such a wonderful balance of warmth, encouragement, and reassurance to our sessions. Most importantly, she has never made me feel like a burden, even when my emotions feel messy or difficult to navigate.

I’m genuinely grateful to have found someone who makes me feel safe enough to be vulnerable, supported enough to work through difficult things, and encouraged enough to keep growing. Finding a therapist who feels like the right fit can make such a difference, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found that in her.
