Maria has been everything I’ve needed in a therapist. She takes time to truly get to know you, learn your history and your goals. She routinely incorporates new techniques and sends helpful information through the chat in between sessions. She has been extremely supportive, but also challenges me in the best way. I have grown so much since I have started working with Maria, and I am very thankful.

Maria Caballero is exactly who I was in need of for my therapist. She gives me ideas of different types of self help, ie. breathing exercises, music, videos, etc. so I may access help in between our sessions. My needs are like ocean waves, ebbs and flows! Maria is always ready to meet my needs. She has helped me grow since I began sessions with her last spring, 2025.

I was struggling with boundary issues in work and home and stress from various sources. Maria's empathic and astute listening skills really helped me better understand my own strengths and growth areas. She provided practical resources to help me better understand myself and learn new behaviors to function more effectively at work and home. I had a previous therapist (not through BetterHelp) who mostly listened and didn't offer reframing or suggestions. I really liked how Maria both listened and then shared her observations with me and provided various resources, such as videos and personality tests to better understand myself and ways I can better manage my stress and work boundaries.

Maria Caballero is a perfect fit
for the position she holds. I myself almost have my master's degree in psychology and counseling, and I am absolutely stunned and amazed at her ability to identify the pertinent issues that I explained to her. Her ability to identify the major points is so amazing. I have met many therapist. S I've gone through therapy, and by far, I would recommend her to anybody because of her ability to grab the major concepts. She let me speak more than anything she let me speak. Even when there were times I know she wanted to talk or need a clarification. She let me speak my mind. And then she asked for clarification, then asked me to explain things which is one of the most impressive skill. She provides excellent advice and most importantly, she validates me. Not only that, I love the fact that she was able to give me advise from my perspective while also providing perspective from the other parties that I waze talking about. Now each patient is different. So I know some people patients I'm referring to might not want the other perspective, but I do, because that helps me grow. It gives me a better understanding. And ultimately, this has been one of the most successful therapy appointments I have ever Had. Most therapist, I have been in service with. I talk in every few seconds, it's a question. It's this. She just let me talk, and that is sometimes what a patient needs is just to talk.
That was by far one of the most helpful therapy appointments I have ever had. My funds are lacking but when I do have the funds.I am definitely going to continue services with her. Her skills techniques and methods are effective and again. I know each patient is different. However, given my line of profession and just needing what I needed. At this point in time in my life, that is exactly what I needed. I am so impressed with her ability to connect validate, and she was able to provide me with new terms and explain certain things that I wasn't even aware of. There is also a couple of things. She pointed out to me that I did not know how to convey to my family members in a way that they could understand and because of her explaining, and using certain terms, I was able to do so. Not only that again, I almost have my master's degree in psychology and counseling. Although I do not want to be a therapist per se, I learned so much from her and I want to give factual statements to point out how great she is at listening understanding being well versed and knowledgeable she is. She provided me with tools, understanding and again, she is able to validate which is one of the most important things I believe a therapist should be able to do. I would highly recommend her to anybody and everybody. She is definitely an asset to betterhelp. If I currently have the funds to see her on a regular basis, I definitely would.

I've seen two therapists last year and finally found a therapist for me. She is extremely respectful of my time and spends the call to focus on my concern instead of processes. In the end, she clearly outlines the different layers of items I need to work on, it's like peeling back the layers. She identifies the immediate next steps. She provides me with advice that is practical and does not add to my existing anxiety.
