Hands down best therapist Ive ever had!

Written on Jul 27, 2022 after therapy with Maria for 4 months on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, and career difficulties

I've been working with Maria for a few months, since my mother's terminal cancer diagnosis. This is a very difficult and eventful time for me and our family, and Maria has been a wonderful support. She spends many sessions listening to me explain the events of the past week or two with patience and compassion. I never feel time pressure or pressure to move on.

We haven't had much time to address adding strategies to the psychological toolbox due to the pace of things, but she slips in helpful and wise advice and good questions. When we discuss coping strategies but don't have time during the session, she follows through with resources and recommendations.

I'm sorry that the first counselor I was assigned to contracted COVID-19, but I'm glad I tried again. Maria has helped tremendously.
