I earned my Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Oakland University in 2005 and has since dedicated my career as an LPC assisting clients from diverse backgrounds find hope and healing. My clinical experience include working with clients with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, addictions, trauma, work/career conflicts and self-esteem. I take a Client Centered Approach and integrates various evidence-based treatment modalities, Cognitive- Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Positive Therapy (PT). My goal as an LPC is to assist clients in navigating through life's challenges, process emotions, develop healthy effective coping strategies to better manage stress thereby reducing presenting symptoms. My belief is that with the right tools and support, clients will learn to identify triggers, build resilience, implement coping strategies when facing adversities, ultimately creating the best version of self.
