About me

Hello, I'm Marlene. My counseling and psychotherapy services focus on the person's needs. The restrictions placed on social gatherings and face-to-face interactions during the lockdown exacerbated people's grief and loss. A lot of people are still dealing with the fallout from the restrictions now that all the restrictions are gone. There may be certain emotions that are overwhelming you, and you cannot understand why. Your body may not feel right, and you can sense something isn't right within you. If you would like to start feeling like yourself again. You might find counselling helpful to gain a deeper understanding.
I am a person-centred therapist. My clients have 50 minutes to talk through what is going on for them. In a safe, private and confidential space. You could have had a bereavement or loss and feel you need someone to listen to you without offering you advice.
Sitting and talking with me about how you are feeling, is a valued and worthwhile first step to take. Feeling anxious and uncertain about how each session will be can fill your thoughts. You may even wonder if you will have enough to talk about in each session. I understand how you feel and will support you to feel relaxed and at ease in your sessions.

Marlene is simply the best! She has a very supportive, empathetic, and positive attitude and a lot of expertise and experience. So far, she has helped me enormously through a tough moment of my life which also revealed deeper issues we have been working on together. I highly recommend her to everyone!

By far the best therapist I've ever had. Doesn't matter what I bring to the session, there's nothing I can talk about that she can't handle, which makes me feel genuinely safe and lets me be truly unfiltered. I've learned and progressed so much thanks to her.
