Martha have helped me realized things that were difficult for me to do on my own. I have gone through one of the most difficult experience in my life and i thought i was still grieving from the passing of my Dad. Martha helped me realized the rootcause of my anxiety and depression which was the trauma that I went through. Knowing the rootcause helped me managed my triggers and attacks. I had really good sessions with her. We laughed and I cried but I have learned a lot. Thanks for the help Martha. Pls take care and stay safe always.

Martha listens and works to understand me, she then reiterates the point to be sure that I agree that what she understood is what I meant.
It’s easy talking to her too.

Written by M.A. on Jun 11, 2021 after therapy with Martha for 1 month on issues concerning stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, self esteem, anger management, career difficulties, coping with life changes, and coaching

Martha is a wonderful therapist.
And here’s why:
1. Intelligent and Knowledgeable.
The reason why my therapy sessions have been so successful is because Martha is so well versed in her areas of expertise. For example, she offers me tools and techniques to cope with my stress and panic attacks- both of which have decreased since starting our sessions together. I am now able to identify my stressors, acknowledge my emotions, and use various methods to slowly get rid of my anxiety. At the moment, she’s helping me achieve my goals that have been hindered by my anxious thoughts. I also wanted to make a note that she takes my culture (Asian American) into consideration with regards to our session- something I’m both impressed with and thankful for.
2. Approachable and kind personality
We’ve established a good rapport immediately because she is so kind. She does not judge. She was able to sympathize with me when I was crying and make me laugh at the same time. And she’s very patient and wonderful. You could really tell she just wants the best for you.
3. Professional
Martha has never missed any of our appointments. She’s very prompt and gives you her full attention during the sessions. She always answer my questions if I need help or advice. She also helps me explore solutions I never would’ve thought of if it weren’t for her helpful hand.
All in all, her intelligence, kindness and professionalism makes Martha a fantastic therapist. Which is why I highly recommend her☺️

Meeting with Martha is like getting a big hug for my emotional well-being. She asks the hard questions when they need to be asked, but always with gentleness, a smile, and openness. Martha establishes trust and rapport very easily. She also brings a sense of humor to the sessions that helps transform what could be a stressful and tense discussion into a comforting and spirit-lifting exchange. In short: Martha is a joy to be guided by.

Martha was amazing made me feel at ease
Like I’d known her for years
Her ability to just say a few words that would open doors in my memories that I didn’t even know I had
I had many issues that I needed to address but Martha seemed to be able to wave a wand like a magician to making me see things differently
Almost immediately
A great lady who I will miss as a person
But it shows how great she is at her job that I am able to now say goodbye to her
And spread my wings and fly with confidence
I will always remember her methods and I now feel like I can pay it forward
So Martha didn’t just help me
She helped my friends and family too. Because I would tell them how my therapy went and they could see certain things in their own lives after so differently too
Highly recommended *****
